So, she put her wings on
For the very first time
And climbed
To the highest bough of the tree
Stood up tall
She opened her arms out
And jumped
Off she flew
With the wind beneath her
And all around
Off she flew
O, what a sight
Off she flew
With such delight
Off she flew
With a flicker of light
Off she flew
Into the star filled night
